Medical Review Officer Services

Our objective is to assist Medical Review Officers (MROs) and employers in optimizing workforce productivity. LabCorp provides MROs with resources to assist employers in building and maintaining a healthy, productive workforce. Our extensive test menu enables MROs to help customers design effective employee screening programs. Of particular interest to MROs who also act as an employer’s Medical Director are our employee wellness programs.

We are committed to providing consistently good service through research and leading-edge technology. These enable us to provide an innovative test portfolio reflecting societal trends, including oxycodone, ecstasy, and medical professionals panel testing.
National Customer Care Center
To meet all of a customer's service needs in one location, we maintain a centralized National Customer Care Center available through one toll-free number (800-833-3984) or here. Our skilled support staff is dedicated to first-contact resolution.
Toxicology Technical Assistance Line
For inquires of a technical toxicology nature, LabCorp provides a direct toll-free telephone line, the ToxLine, where LabCorp customers and their MROs can obtain general technical toxicology information. The ToxLine is manned by a representative during regular business hours. Toxicology assistance requests may also be submitted here, and a telephone response will be provided.

National Specimen Collection Network
For customer convenience, LabCorp offers drug screen collections at many of our more than 1100 patient service centers (PSCs) located throughout the US. Using an on-line tool, we give TPAs the ability to perform collection site matches. The Web site match analyzer provides access to our Collection Network including in-network third-party facilities. Network services include urine drug screen, rapid tests for drugs and alcohol, hair drug screen, oral fluid drug screen, on-site, and mobile collections.
National Specimen Transportation Network
Specimens are generally routed to the closest appropriately-certified laboratory. For timely results, LabCorp can arrange for direct specimen pick-up from most geographic areas through LabCorp's national, company-owned courier network.
Rapid Tests for Drugs of Abuse and Alcohol
When one day is too long to wait for drug test results, LabCorp offers an on-site Rapid Test program available in many of our patient service centers nationwide. Laboratory-based GC/MS confirmation is available for non-negative urine and oral fluid screens.
Employee Wellness Programs
Our Employee Wellness programs offer employers on-site workplace events that may include a blood collection for a comprehensive health panel, blood pressure, pre-employment drug testing, industrial allergens testing, and employee wellness education. Additional diagnostic and preventive tests are available for members of an employee population. Employee health management data enables employers to target health risk counseling and workforce wellness programs effectively.
