Urine Rapid Tests
When minutes count, LabCorp's Rapid Test programs offer drugs of abuse screening that is rapid, reliable, and right. Urine Rapid Test, Point-of-Collection Testing (POCT), provides on-site screening for drugs of abuse and urine specimen validity following chain-of-custody protocol.
LabCorp performs urine rapid tests in many of its patient service centers (PSCs) nationwide, or customers may choose to perform tests in their own facilities. LabCorp’s certified laboratories offer GC/MS confirmation for non-negative Rapid Test drug screens.
LabCorp Solutions Rapid Test process involves the collector running an initial screen on-site at the point of collection. Collections performed in a LabCorp PSC include the collector entering the screening results via a Web-based tool. Once results are entered, they are downloaded into the laboratory system, enabling customers to obtain electronic reports and statistical summary data. The Rapid Test result entry Web tool is available for use by customers who choose to perform the screening in their own facilities.
